Bernice Simpson, 87, of Hoyt, KS passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at her home. She was born December 16, 1927 in Netawaka, KS the daughter of Herman and Bertha Gerhardt.
Bernice married Lyle Simpson on February 3, 1951 at Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2015.
Bernice is survived by her daughters, Pat Flowers (Eddie) and Sue Welling (Tim); sons, Bob Simpson (Cindy) and Mike Simpson; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lyle; her parents, and son-in-law, Mike Reich.
Bernice was cremated. A private family service will be held at a later date.
