Bert E. Rickard, 86, Topeka, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at a local hospital.
Bert was born November 15, 1932 in Wichita, the son of Bert R. and Genevieve (Doyle) Rickard. He graduated from Wichita North High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Washburn University.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a District Manager for Southwestern Bell for 32 years, retiring in 1987.
Bert married Peggy Ann Yelverton on June 6, 1954. His wife of 64 years survives. Other survivors include daughters, Kathryn Rickard, Seattle, WA, Cheryl St. John, Topeka; grandson, Casey St. John, and granddaughter, Jamie St. John.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
