Bethel Logan, 81, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Midland Hospice House.
Bethel was born October 13, 1931 in Harveyville, the daughter of Warren and Maude (Rothert) Spencer. She graduated from Harveyville High School.
She worked as a retail clerk and cosmetologist, but loved being a homemaker.
She was a member of Fairlawn Heights Wesleyan Church where she was active in several women's groups and bible studies.
Bethel married Charles "Duane" Logan on December 10, 1949. He died June 7, 2007. Survivors include sons, Tom (Nancy) Logan, Manhattan, Spencer (Cindy) Logan, Topeka; adopted daughter, Christina Logan, Topeka; and grandchildren, Ryan (Jacque) Logan, Jason and Justin Logan, John Beattie and William Myers. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Duane, George, Dwight and Gaylord.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Fairlawn Heights Wesleyan Church, 5400 SW Huntoon. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
