Betty D. Alexander, 82, of Topeka, passed away, January 10, 2008.
She was born June 16, 1925, in Burlingame, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Rose Butterfield. Betty was a graduate of OverbrookHigh School.
Her career was in banking, retiring as an officer with Capital City State Bank.
Betty married Floyd W. Alexander, January 19, 1963. He preceded her in death November 28, 1995. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Weinbrecht, Ft. Worth, TX; Candice Morgan, Tecumseh, KS; and Marcia Dinkel, Berryton, KS, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Alexander will lie in state after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday. Burial will follow at the Penwell-GabelCemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Heart of America Hospice, 3715 S.W. 29th Street, Topeka, 66614.
