Betty D. Boileau
Betty D. Boileau, 89, Topeka, passed away Jan. 27, 2011. She was born to Elmer and Hattie M. (Harris) Allen on Sept. 12, 1921 at Kearney, Nebraska. She moved to Topeka in 1951 and married Lewis D. Boileau on Dec. 20, 1952. During WWII Betty worked at the Kayser Shipyard in Richmond, CA.
She was a homemaker and raised 4 sons. She is survived by 2 sons, Craig Boileau and Chris Boileau and his wife Jodi, all of Topeka; 6 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded by her parents, husband Lewis, 2 sons, Randy Boileau and Ronald Boileau, Sr. and a grandson, Justin Boileau.
Funeral services will be held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel on Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at 1:00 pm
Visitation will be held for one hour before the service. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
