At the age of 101, Betty E. Fager passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born May 25, 1922 in Osage City, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer and Mildred (Lungren) Fager. She had a lifelong love of the family farm near Rapp School. Betty graduated from Osage City High School and attended Strickland Business College.
Her career was spent working in the tax department at the Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka, Kansas where her skills with organization and figures were a great asset.
Betty married Virgil Dreiling October 2, 1989. He preceded her in death, along with her parents and her sister, Louise Fager.
Betty was a member of Brookwood Covenant Church. Extended family and devoted caregivers will cherish their memories of Betty.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 5th at the Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road in Topeka. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in the Rapp Cemetery in Osage County.
