Betty J. Manning, 85, of Topeka Kansas passed peacefully July 6, 2015.

Born June 27, 1930 in Topeka Kansas she grew up in Topeka graduating from Highland Park High.

She loved traveling and surrounding herself with her family. She took pride in her work with both the federal and state governments.

Betty was married to Benjamin Manning in January 1951. He preceded her in death in 1985. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Glenn Hilbert in 1983.

Betty is survived by son Donald and wife Sandy Manning of Berryton, Kansas, daughter Debbie and husband Raymond Bellinger of Lawrence, Kansas, son Benjamin Jr. and wife Debra Manning of Spring Hill, Kansas, son Jerry and wife Pamela Manning of Tecumseh, Kansas, sister Ida Mae Campbell of Smyrna, Tennessee, 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, July 10 from Noon - 2:00 pm at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota, Topeka, Kansas. Graveside service will immediately follow at Topeka Cemetery, 1601 SE 10th Ave. Topeka Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, 3715 SW 29th St., Ste. 100, Topeka, KS 66614.
