Betty M. Wedeking
Betty Mae Wedeking, lifelong Topeka resident, passed away on July 18, 2011. She was born May 20, 1953 to Elvin E. and Marguerite Jane (Spaeth) Crowe in Topeka. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1971. She married William R. Wedeking on April 21, 1979. She worked as a paraprofessional for USD 501. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband William, daughter, Rebecca M. Hurla and son-in-law John M. Hurla, daughter, Beth A. Wedeking, 4 grandchildren, Anthony, Aaron, Michael and Jasmine, and her brother Jerry Marlatt.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Herbert "Butch" M. Marlatt.
A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Countryside Christian Church.
