Betty E. Naugle, 87, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She was born April 9, 1933 in Fresno, California, the daughter of Elmer Lee and Florence Estell (Radley) Bell.

Betty graduated high school in Fresno, California. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri and later earned an Associate Degree Pastoral Studies from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri. Betty was employed by Baptist Memorial Hospital, Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence and served as a Private Duty Nurse for Dr. H. Penny Jones in Lawrence. She was a member of the Community Church and was active in the Ladies Group at First Southern Baptist Church. She worked with women at Celebrate Recovery.

Survivors include children, Terry (Susan) Kerr of Topeka, Billy Kerr of Apple Valley, California, Jerry Kerr of Grain Valley, Missouri, Kimberly Burgett of Grain Valley, Missouri and Ronald Mason Kerr of Lawrence, Jo Ellen Rogers of Fresno, California, Bob Riley of Fernley, Nevada and Ronald Riley of Fresno, California and loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her eight siblings.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Betty's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Community Church, 1819 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
