Betty Jo Pigg

Betty Lorance Pigg, 96, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024.

She was born April 16, 1928, Chickasha, Ok, the daughter of Joseph and Olga (Todd) Lorance.

Mrs. Pigg was a member of the Central Church of Christ, of Topeka Kansas.

Betty was married to James Pigg for 67 years he preceded her in death on March 11, 2016.

Survivors include Brother Clyde Lorance (Janet), Son Steve Pigg (Connie), Daughter Lori Andres (Rick), Daughter Patti Palmer (Roger), Son Todd Pigg (Sandy), eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Proceeded in death by her parents , Sisters: Thelma Ring West, Lois Lambert, Opha Ritchey, Nadine Smith, Nita Ratzlaff, LaVon Pitzer, Arthena Humphreys.  

Betty enjoyed writing poetry, gardening, bird watching and cooking for her family and friends.
