Betty Lou Richmond, 81, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2019.
She was born September 21, 1937, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of James H. and Lucille (Binney) LaDuke.
Betty was employed by Top of the Tower and Payless Shoe Source in Topeka.
Survivors include three children, Danny Heberling, Topeka, Steve (Becky) Sadler, Topeka and Sonja (Trent) Hullopeter, Wellsville, KS; and seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James LaDuke and Lucille Fannin; a son, Loren "Butch" Heberling; a granddaughter, Jennifer; and a brother, Dwayne Fannin.
Betty enjoyed gambling and playing cards.
A funeral ceremony will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. The family encourages blue jean attire for those who attend the ceremony. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
