Beulah M. Meens, 101, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at McCrite Plaza. She was born November 10, 1921 in Berryton, the daughter of Frank and Lena K. (Keeton) McQuiston.
Beulah graduated from Berryton High School. She was employed as a cook for Berryton Grade School. She was a long time member of the Berryton United Methodist Church. She was known for her infectious laugh.
Beulah married Gerald "Jerry" Meens on October 20, 1940 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2014.
Survivors include two sons; Jerry Dean (Jane) Meens of Topeka, Gregg (Mary) Meens of Topeka, seven grandchildren; Lori Meens, Kristi Martinez, Marcy Shelby, Scott Meens, Russ Meens, Matt Meens and Evie Blanco, twelve great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Beulah's Life will be held at the Berryton United Methodist Church in the spring of 2023 and announced at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Lynn Creek Cemetery southeast of Topeka at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
