Beverly A. Mccarter

Beverly Ann McCarter, 76, of Auburn, passed away on May 26, 2017. She was born on August 13, 1940 to Nathan and Ida (Robinson) Brobst. She graduated from Auburn High School, before marrying her lifetime love, Jerald B. McCarter on August 29, 1958. She dedicated her life to raising her three children while maintaining an immaculate home.
She was known for her love of gardening, working in the yard, cooking, and crocheting. She will be remembered most for the love she expressed to her family and friends. Her strong and loyal personality was an inspiration to us all and will live on in our memories.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years; her children: Kevin (Sharon) of Oskaloosa, Cindy of Topeka, Brad (Lori) of Topeka; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings: Marg of Scranton, Hazel, and Faye of Topeka, Marvin of Beloit, Doris, Wanda, Paul, Judy, and Cheryl, all of Auburn, and Linda of Bashor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and five of her siblings, Don, Dean, Kenny, Shirley and Jean.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday June 12, 2017 at Fellowship Bible Church, 10th & Urish, Topeka. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
