Billie P. Johnson, 87, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

She was born July 4, 1929, in Searcy, Arkansas, the daughter of Melvin and Alma (Armstrong) Priest.

She was a homemaker and member of Countryside United Methodist Church.

Billie married Thomas Martin Johnson, Sr. on December 22, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include their children: Cynthia Johnson Doerr (Steven), Pamela Johnson Foels (Stephen), Thomas Martin Johnson, Jr. (Rozie); sister, Nina McVay (Bob) and five grandchildren.
Billie enjoyed several hobbies including, gardening, baking, cross stitching, antiquing and painting.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Countryside United Methodist Church, 3221 SW Burlingame Rd., Topeka. Private interment will be at Manchester United Methodist Church Cemetery Manchester, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to Countryside United Methodist Church.
