Billie Joyce Beeghly, 80, of Topeka passed away suddenly on Friday, May 23, 2008 at her home.

She was born Oct. 2, 1927 in Lufkin, Texas, and had lived in Topeka most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Beeghly on Sept. 7, 1987, by her long-time companion , Paul Stubbs on April 11, 2008, and two sons, Robert C. Cain and Michael J. Cain.

Survivors include three daughters, Julie Tostado, Janice Semple, and Linda Steele, all of Topeka; a brother, Dal Johnson of Pollock, TX; 14 grandchildren, Faith, Tiffany, Robert, Shawn, Shannon, Shane, Craig, Tammy, Amy, Amanda, Mary Lou, Kelsey, Jason, and Tina; several special, loved great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed every day by all of us.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 pm today at the funeral home.
