Billy D. "Bill" Burcham, 77, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. He was born January 10, 1944 in Iola, Kansas, the son of Will L. and Doris E. (Burtiss) Burcham.
Bill attended Iola High School. He had resided in Topeka since 1962. He attended Barber School and was employed at Forbes Air Force Base as a Barber for several years. He later went to work at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 28 years before retiring.
Bill married Janice D. Lonnis on November 30, 1996 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She survives. Other survivors include children, Susan Abbott, Thomas Burcham, James Burcham, two step-children, Christine (Todd) Kroeker and Brian Lonnis, three grandchildren, Kara, Travis and Jacob, six great-grandchildren and his two sisters, Sandra (Carl) Robb and Linda (Greg) Peterson.
Bill was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy.
A Celebration of Bill's Life and inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery will be announced this spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with arrangements.
