Bob Marlin Pollom, 96, of Tecumseh, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023.

Bob was born on October 20, 1927, in Topeka, the son of Edgar T. & Mildred E. (Stansbury) Pollom.

Bob attended Topeka schools and graduated from Topeka High School in 1945. He then went on to study engineering at Kansas State University and graduated in 1949.

Bob married Virginia L. Worthington on June 4, 1949, enjoying 65 years of marriage before she passed on April 21, 2015.

Bob worked for M.W. Watson Constructors and was in charge of building projects such as: the Merchants Bank Tower, the Bank IV Townsite Plaza Tower, the Stormont Vail North Tower project, the Menninger West Campus expansion, and the Rain Forest at Gage Park.

Bob was a member of the Church of Christ in Stull, KS. He served twenty-one years on the Tecumseh and Shawnee Heights school boards. He was a charter member of the Tecumseh Kiwanis Club.

Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed activities such as: attending his grandkids' activities, attending/hosting family gatherings, crossword puzzles, gardening, golfing, playing cards, studying The Bible, traveling, walking with friends, and so much more.

Survivors include his children: Robert N. Pollom of Tecumseh, Ronald G. Pollom of Topeka, Lee Ann Froelich (Jerry) of Tecumseh, & Donald E. Pollom (Debbie) of Topeka; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his sister, Carolyn Taylor, and great-grandson, Dawson Fellman.

Bob donated his body to the Kansas University School of Medicine. A family gathering will be held at a future date. Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery in Big Springs, KS at a later date.

Bob truly was the Best Dad & Papa, his Earthly presence will be sorely missed, until we meet again.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Topeka Rescue Mission at PO Box 8350, Topeka, KS 66608-0350.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
