Bobby Taylor, 71, Topeka, died Monday, June 18, 2007 at Rossville Health Center.
He was born Feb. 27, 1936 in Arban, KY, the son of Willie and Susan Nichols Taylor.
Mr. Taylor worked for the City of Topeka.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Taylor; five children, Terry, Chris, Wendell, Joan, and Toby; two brothers, Wendell and Joe, and a sister, Betty. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Lee Taylor.
Services will be 1:00 pm Friday at St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor will lie in state after 9 am Thursday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home where the family will greet friends from 1-4 pm.
