Bonita L. "Bonnie" Carls, 94, Berryton, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
Bonnie was born November 5, 1923 in Ottawa, the daughter of James and Mable (Fulkerson) Winters. She graduated from Osawatomie High School.
She worked at the Osawatomie Library and later at Ralph's Grocery Store.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Topeka.
Bonnie married Dean Carls on March 15, 1975 in Osawatomie. He survives. Other survivors include a sister, Rose Butts, Dallas, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota. Burial will follow at Shawnee Center Cemetery in Wakarusa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission.
