Bonnie Forshee

Bonnie Lou Forshee of Topeka went home to the Lord on November 29, 2007. She was born on August 3, 1932 in Topeka, Kansas to Howard and Ruth Whitcomb. She retired from J.C. Penny's after 29 years of service.
She was married to Truman J. "T.J." Forshee on August 6,1955 in Topeka. He passed away on July 28, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons Douglas (Marybeth) Forshee, Darrell (Shirley) Forshee, Dennis Forshee, Darren (Gloria) Forshee, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Doris Marshall and LeRoy Whitcomb.
Bonnie will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Sunday December 2nd at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel where the family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 pm Sunday. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 3rd at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene, 3501 S. W. Wanamaker Road. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
