Bonnie A. Frazell

Bonnie A. (Gish, Keatley) Frazell, 80, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, August 15, 2021.

She was born June 26, 1941, in Lacrosse, Kansas, the daughter of Oscar and Frances (Meyers) Gish.

She graduated from Bazine High School in 1959.

Bonnie worked as a secretary and was employed by State Farm Insurance for approximately 30 years before retiring.

Bonnie was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church of Topeka and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star of Ottawa, KS.

Bonnie married Alvin Keatley in 1958 and later divorced. She then married Clyde Frazell on September 20, 1968 in Ottawa, Kansas. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1975.

Survivors include her son, Tony (Brenda) Keatley of Topeka, KS; her step-son, Kevin (Terri) Frazell of Minneapolis, MN; her sister, Kay Wurm of Lenexa, KS and her brother, Dennis Gish of Waldron, MO; her grandchildren, Aaron Rethman, Kayla (Steve) Walker, Shelby, Michael and Casey Keatley, Jason (Kirsten) Frazell, Ben (Emily) Frazell and Sarah (Tyler) Carlson; her great-grandchildren, Cameron and Lilah Walker, Hana and Charlie Frazell, Elisa Frazell and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Cheryl Rethman.

Bonnie enjoyed reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and a circle of close friends.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the First Southern Baptist Church, 1912 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66604. A visitation will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the First Southern Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606.

Dove Cremations and Funerals – Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd., Topeka, KS 66610 is assisting the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission, Inc., P.O. Box 8350, Topeka, KS 66608 or to the First Southern Baptist Church, 1912 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66604.
