Bonnie June Maddux
Bonnie June Maddux of Allen, Kansas, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Osage Nursing Center in Osage City, Kansas. She was 87 years old. She has been cremated and a memorial service will be held June 18, 2011 at Allen United Methodist Church in Allen, Kansas at 2:00pm.
She was born June 19, 1923 in Admire, Kansas to Hunter and Eva Wheat. She married Charles Boren Maddux on August 12, 1944. He died December 14, 2002. Bonnie was an aerospace inspector at Litton Industries in Woodland Hills, California for 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Childers and her husband Daniel Childers of Woodland Hills, California, and Becky Fisher of Allen, Kansas; two grandsons, Matthew Childers of Woodland Hills, California and Christopher Fisher of Emporia, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Caldeen Parkhurst and Peggy Finn.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation or to the North Lyon County Community Center.
