Bonnie M. Youngberg, 69, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018.
She was born November 17, 1948, in St. Joseph, Missouri, the daughter of Miles Edgar and Naida "Beatrice" (McCoy) Reese. She was a 1966 graduate of Dekalb Missouri High School. She married Howard Youngberg on April 19, 1975 in Topeka, Kansas. She worked at the Topeka Medical Center for 12 years, and then as a Payroll Specialist at St. Francis Hospital for 32 years, retiring in 2012.
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother is survived by her husband, Howard of Topeka; her son, Kristopher Youngberg (Misty) of Amarillo, TX; her daughter, Trisha Massey of Topeka; four grandchildren, Aspen and Easton Youngberg, Amarillo, TX, Colby Massey and Jaxon Sharples of Topeka. She is also survived by her sister, Beverly Reese of Atchison, KS; her brothers, Bob Reese (Cathy) of St. Charles, MO, Marvin Reese (Janice) of Conroe, TX, and Leon Reese of Platte City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Kenneth Reese; sister-in-law, Sarah Reese; her niece, Bobbi Jo Reese; her nephews, Tony and Cory Reese and her niece, Brenda Nelson. She was also preceded in death by her beloved 4-legged friend, Otis.
Bonnie enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, walking with Otis.
A private remembrance for family and friends will be held at a later date. The family requests no flowers.
