Bradley J. Youse, 31, of Topeka, died May 25, 2013. He was born March 14, 1982 in Clay Center, KS, the son of Robert and Suzan (Broden) Youse.
Brad attended Washburn Rural schools and Kansas University. He was currently employed at Lowe's in the Lawn and Garden department, and previously worked in the food/beverage service industry in Charleston, SC and Lawrence, KS.
Brad is survived by his parents; his brother, Brett Youse, sister-in-law, Brandi and niece, Leah, all of Topeka; as well as his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Ed Broden of Clay Center, KS. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Betty Youse.
Brad loved the ocean and said someday he would move back to live by the water. Those who knew Brad knew he wasn't real fond of the cold and snowy winters of Kansas. While the date has not been determined, we will make his wish come true and take him back to Charleston to the ocean.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be used to benefit alcohol prevention/treatment programs and a college fund for his special niece, Leah.
A celebration of Brad's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 31st at the First Baptist Church, 3033 SW MacVicar Ave. Topeka, KS 66611. The family will greet visitors and friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30th in the parlor of the church. There will also be a visitation one hour prior to the service in the parlor.
