Bradley Scott Shaffer

Bradley Scott "Brad" Shaffer, 54, of Topeka, passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 at his home.
He was born January 11, 1959 in Nashville, KS the son of Larry Keith and Caren V. (Fitzsimmons) Shaffer. He was a 1977 graduate of Topeka High School.
Brad married Diana Merillat. They later divorced. He married Virginia McCure. They were divorced. Survivors include three children, Ben Shaffer, Topeka, Jacob Shaffer and Rachel Shaffer both of Iola; his father, Larry Shaffer, Topeka; his mother, Caren Mix, Topeka; and a grandson, Bryce Shaffer, Topeka. He was preceded in death by a brother, Brian Shaffer.
Brad had a brilliant mind. He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and reading.
Honoring his request, Brad was cremated. A graveside ceremony will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2013, Cairo Cemetery, Cunningham, KS. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service in Topeka is assisting the family.
