Brian C. Lamountain

Brian LaMountain, 52, Topeka, passed away Sept. 13, 2011. He was born to Curtis and Doris (Ray) LaMountain on March 20, 1959 at Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was raised in Topeka, Kansas and graduated from Topeka West High School in 1977. He served in the Navy. He married his soul mate Bobbie Dugan on October 23, 2010 at Topeka. He was employed as a chef at HuHot Mongolian Grill. He enjoyed camping, cooking, barbequing, golfing, and hunting.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie; stepchildren Jason (Angie) Hainline, and Thomas Flowers; grandchildren Mariah and Makayla; mother Doris LaMountain; sisters, Gayle Ray, Eve "Lorrie" VanBuskirk, Darlene LaMountain (Jeff Bartholomew), and Ruth LaMountain; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his father Curtis LaMountain.

A Celebration of his life will be held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service on October 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brian LaMountain memorial fund in care of Roberta LaMountain, P.O. Box 4084, Topeka, KS 66604.
