Brian Dean Kuntze, 46, Topeka, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Brian was born June 15, 1968 in Topeka, the son of W. Dean and Arlene (Oest) Kuntze. He graduated from Amarillo High School in Amarillo, TX and received his education as a Diesel Technician at Universal Technical Institute in Houston, TX.
He moved to Topeka shortly after graduation and worked different jobs, the last being for LKQ as a disassembler.
He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church and a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
Brian married Jill Ronsse on June 12, 2010, when her two daughters, Shelby and Morgan, became his stepdaughters. Survivors include his wife and stepdaughters; mother and step father, Arlene and Gery Kauffman, all of Topeka; brother, Darin Kuntze and wife Julie, Omaha, NE; stepbrothers, Kip Kauffman and wife, April, Shane McGinley and wife, Carrie, all of Topeka; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Inurnment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
