Brian Wayne Bolyard, 39, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
He was born August 4, 1975 in Topeka, the son of Thomas and Sharon (Minor) Bolyard. Brian was a 1994 graduate of Shawnee Heights High School and 2003 graduate of Baker University School of Nursing.
Survivors include his parents of Topeka; a sister, Jenny Bolyard, Topeka; two brothers, Jeff (Christine) Bolyard, Osage City and Greg Bolyard, Louisburg, MO; maternal grandparents, Elbert and Mary Minor, Mission, KS; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Richard Selig, Melissa Lewis, Julie Stasi, Bill and Sharyl Bolyard, Mary Jones, Natalie Persinger, Colleen Shirley, Janie and Ted Chesley, Susie Carlson and Annie Williamson; several cousins, including Lyndsay and Brad Tindell, (and their children, Ryleigh and Landry), Brandon Selig, Josh Votaw and Eian Lewis; niece, Natasha Moon and her children, Rylee and Layton, niece, Ashley Wright (Jeremy) and their sons, and niece, Ali Bolyard.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Bill and Opal Bolyard; and uncles, Mickey Bolyard, Jimmy Bolyard, Richard Carlson, Harry Shirley and Robert Jones.
Brian was an avid sports fan, especially, KU basketball and football, K.C. Royals and K.C. Chiefs.
Brian was cremated. A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2015, at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave, Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
