Bruce E. Snyder, 56, of Auburn, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011.
Bruce loved the outdoors; spending many hours hunting, fishing, and working on his farm. He was dedicated to providing for his family. Bruce was employed with USD 501, and had an impact on many children's lives. Bruce will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 37 years, Ramona Snyder, Auburn; two children, Cody E. Snyder, Las Vegas, NV; and Casey (Laura) L. Snyder, Hoyt; a grandson, Logan Robert Snyder, Hoyt; mother, Leona Snyder, Auburn; two brothers, Doug (Jackie) Snyder, Olathe; and Gary (Pamala) Snyder, Auburn.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tyla Jean Snyder, and father, Robert E. Snyder.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011, at Auburn Cemetery, Auburn. Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, Topeka, is assisting the family with arrangements. The family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials to the family of Bruce Snyder, c/o Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 Wanamaker Road, Topeka, KS 66610.
