Bruce J. Woner, 67, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
Bruce was born December 10, 1954 in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Martin & Lorice Ann Woner. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1972; the University of Kansas in 1976; and Washburn University Law School in 1979. Bruce practiced law in Kansas for over 40 years. He was a director of Central National Bank. Bruce was a member of First United Methodist Church; served Troop 7 of the Boy Scouts of America; and helped launch Midland Care Hospice.
Bruce married Pat Reeder on October 6, 1984 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include son, Benjamin Woner, Topeka; daughter, Laura Delfelder, with husband, C.J., and their children, Calvin and Elle, Manhattan, KS; his Mother, Lorice Ann Woner, Topeka; and brother, Kent Woner, Edmond, OK. He was predeceased by his father, Martin Woner.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Topeka.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to First United Methodist Church, 600 SW Topeka Blvd., Topeka, Kansas 66603.
