C. Tucker Allen, 74, of Topeka, died due to a Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumor, Sunday, February 2, 2025.
She was born November 8, 1950, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Seldon and Dortha (Bain) Tucker. She became a Certified Nurse Practitioner Midwife working for Mother & Infant Care as well as Shawnee County Health Department/Grace Med.
Tucker was active in the Race Against Breast Cancer Topeka organization where she also served on the board of directors.
Tucker married Brian Allen on May 21, 1983 in Overbrook. He survives. Other survivors include step-daughter, Kathrine Barnard; brothers, Ed & John Tucker; sister, Cathy Tucker-Vogel, and numerous beloved family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Tucker enjoyed landspeed motorcycle racing and held a national record in her class. She was an avid reader and donated thousands of books to the Topeka Shawnee County Library.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Dove Cremations & Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66610. Guests will be invited to share their memories of Tucker during the celebration.
