Carl Richard VonPertz, 68, Topeka, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital.
He was born July 27, 1939 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Clyde and Helen VonPertz. He lived in Topeka most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela VonPertz; five daughters, Cherish, Rosemary, Christine, Christina and Cheryl; three sons, Karl, Damon, and Kevin; two brothers, Gerald and Kenneth; several grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. Family and friends will gather at Carl's home from 6-8 pm Saturday, Sept. 1. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carl VonPertz memorial fund, c/o Educational Credit Union, 2808 SW Arrowhead Rd. 66614.
