Carla Sue Lowry, 72, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016. She was born March 13, 1944 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Alfred E. and Clara K. (Reiman) Egli.
Carla graduated from Topeka High School in 1962.
Carla married Stanley Robert Lowry in 1963. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1970. She later married Robert Thomas Grogger. He preceded her in death in 2002. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amanda Kay Cunningham in 2003 and her brother, Richard Egli in 2016.
Survivors include two daughters, Shelley (Jack) Skinner of Topeka, Stacey Ford of Topeka, six grandchildren, Max Kaufman, Harry Kaufman, Lindsey Skinner, Abbey Skinner, Josh Cunningham and Adam (Olivia) Cunningham and four great-grandchildren, Sebastian Kaufman, Mason Kaufman, Olivia Kaufman and Abel Cunningham.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Carla's life will be held at a later date and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor's choice.
