Carol J. Hicks, 71, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on June 11, 2014 at her home. She was born November 22, 1942 at Topeka to Harold "Bud" Massey and Virginia Norland Massey. Carol married James Hicks in 1963. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2014.
Survivors include her daughter, Pam Craig (Keevin) of Topeka; two sons, Darrin Hicks of Topeka, and Jimmy Hicks (Terri) of Meriden; her mother Virginia Norland; a sister Judy Massey; two brothers, Dean Massey and Tom Massey; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Hicks, her father Bud Massey and three brothers, Bill, Fred and Mike Massey, and her aunt, Ruby Belanger.
A memorial service will be held June 20, 2014 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service at 4PM. Visitation will begin at 3PM prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Cir. Topeka, KS 66606.
