Carol Ann Parks, 79, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018.
She was born January 19, 1939, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of August Carl and Eva Mae (Fields) Fritz. She was a graduate of Omaha North High School.
Carol was employed and retired from the City of Omaha.
She was a member of Humane Society of America.
Survivors include two daughters, Ronda Klein and Lori Parks, of Topeka; four grandchildren, Shana and her husband, Chad (Sanders) Hagedorn, Curtis Klein, Ashley Gagliola (Tyler Frazee) and Nicholas Gagliola; three great-grandchildren, Jackson Blindt, Sienna Gagliola and Preston Hagedorn; a brother, Ronald (Jaqueline) Fritz, Omaha, NE; and her canine companion, Ticker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Curtis Bradley Huey and David Hanson II.
Carol enjoyed going to the casino with friends and family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, animals and had a great sense of humor.
Honoring Carol's request, cremation is planned. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Prairie Band Casino Convention Center in Mayetta.
