Carol Sue Zarazua

Carol "Sue" Zarazua, 64, Topeka, passed away December 10, 2010. She was born in Horton, Kansas on December 4, 1946. She married Benny Zarazua on October 30, 1965. He survives.

She was a volunteer for R.E.A.C.H. at Most Pure Heart for several years which brought her much joy. She was baptized in the Catholic faith and was a current member of St. Matthew's parish.
She was a bus driver for 28 years and participated in bus rodeo.

She is survived by four children, Shelli Zarazua, Denise Grace, Anita Schnegelsipen and Keryi Overby, as well as her three son-in-laws, Albert Grace, Jr., Vaugh Schnegelsipen, Jr., and Christopher Overby, all of Topeka; twelve grandchildren, Shawn Zarazua, Derrick Campos, Joshua Zarazua, Chansey Hester, Patrick Robertson, Terry Robertson, Jr., Matthew Flores, Jordan Overby-Zarazua, Gabriel Overby-Zarazua, Erin Overby, Miguel Rodriguez, Jr., all of Topeka, Davonica Hendricks of Kansas City, KS, Antwone Rusch and Jazmine Rusch both of Missouri; seven great-grandchildren, Monica Campos, Marcella Campos, Derrick Campos, Jr., Angelina Campos, Maribel Flores, Patrick Robertson, Jr., and Easton Jennings, all of Topeka; and many special nephews and nieces of all over the United States.

Six grandchildren preceded her in death; Lil' Michael Joe Robertson, Daniel Roberts, Sky Roberts, Lathan Roberts III, Jonathan Edwards, Jr., and Michelle Marin.

A Rosary will be prayed Tuesday, at 6:30pm December 14, 2010 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel with visitation following until 7:30pm. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 15 at 10:00am at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel. Private inurnment will be at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
