Carol Lee Witten, 77, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022.
She was born February 22, 1944, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Frederic and Betty (Roudebush) Carman. She graduated from Topeka High in 1962.
Carol married Joe Witten - they later divorced. Survivors include her son, William Witten of Topeka; grandchildren Chelsea Zamora and Isabella Witten; brothers Richard (Fran) Carman of Green Bay, WI, Roger Carman of Topeka and Randy Carman (Loretta) of Topeka; and her best friend Nadine Shaw. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carol loved her dog Max and always had a beautiful flower garden.
Carol was cremated. A graveside ceremony will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 26th at Mount Hope Cemetery, 4700 SW 17th Street in Topeka. Friends and family are welcome. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel in Topeka, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
