Carole B. Anderson, 85, of Topeka, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022.
She was born January 12, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Frank and Norma Whitmer.
Carole graduated from Vandalia Butler High School in 1955.
Carole married John Anderson in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Carole lived most of her life in the Dayton, Ohio area and moved to Topeka, Kansas where she has resided for the last 11 years of her life.
Survivors include her children, Theresa (Maurice) Hime of Topeka, Kurt Anderson of Kettering, OH and Sue Crist of Topeka; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Anderson of West Chester, OH; her grandchildren, Joel (Callie) Hime of Tucson, AZ, Jennifer (Brian) Sanders of Topeka, Steven Hime of Topeka, Tyler (Abby) Anderson of Omaha, NE, Brett (Emily) Anderson of Winston-Salem, NC and Carrie Riggs of Cincinnati, OH and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Richard Whitmer; her son, Kent Anderson and a grandson, Eric Anderson.
Honoring Carole's request, cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial ceremony will be at 9:30 am, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Polk Grove Cemetery, 9190 Frederick Pike, Dayton, OH 45414.
