Carole A. Greene

Carole A. Greene, 78, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. She was born February 14, 1946 in Topeka, the daughter of Vernon LeRoy and Marjorie C. (Reiber) Hutton. She was raised by John H. Vigneron whom she considered as her dad.

Carole graduated from Topeka West High School in 1964 and attended Clark Business School. She employed as a Library Clerk Stenographer for the State of Kansas for 13 years. 

Carole married James Greene on July 25, 1987 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on November 13, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her children, Brett Michael Greene on October 15, 1985, Mark James Reser on March 23, 2015, her brother, Jon Vigneron on October 2, 1999, her dad, John H. Vigneron on January 11, 2003 and her mother, Marjorie C. Vigneron on November 13, 2009.

Survivors include her children, Travis Davison, Melissa Reser Young, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister, Michelle Young of Topeka, her niece, Rene and four nephews, Maurice, John, Wes and Chris.

A private Celebration of Carole's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Topeka Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
