Carolyn I. Jacobsen

Carolyn I. Jacobsen, 68, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014. She was born July 14, 1946 in Franklin Co., Arkansas, the daughter of Sidney and Wilma Ruth Johnson Brumley.

Carolyn resided in Lenexa, KS prior to moving to Topeka in 1999. She was employed by the I.R.S. for 32 years before retiring in 1997. She attended Faith Lutheran Church in Shawnee, KS.

Survivors include her siblings, Larry (Ruby) Brumley of Topeka, Tim Kilgore of Overland Park, KS and five nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private interment will take place in Lone Pine Cemetery, Franklin Co., Arkansas at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Cat Association of Topeka, 1719 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, KS 66604.
