Carolynn Ann DeHart, 64, of Greenleaf, KS, formerly of Topeka, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010. She was born on April 4, 1946 in Norwich, England, the daughter of Silas and Elvina Larkins Anno.
She attended Highland Park High School. She moved to the Washington County area in 1977 with her husband due to his military career. Carolynn was a Certified Nurses Assistant for several nursing home facilities in the Washington and Marshall County area. She married Arthur Floyd DeHart, Sr., on December 24, 1964 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Tarry Renee' McAvoy of Scandia, one son, Arthur Floyd DeHart, Jr. of Greenleaf, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother, Robert Anno of Carbondale and one sister, Linda Cottle of Acworth, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Burial will follow. Carolynn will lie in state from 4:00-8:00 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel.
