Catherine J. Donley, 45, of Scranton, died Sunday, December 19, 2004 as a result of an automobile accident in Osage County, Ks. She was born on July 29, 1959 in Winchester, Ks., the daughter of James D. and Janet E. Harvey Godfrey. She lived most of her life in Scranton. She was employed by Ameribill. She was a minister. She married Michael D. Donley in October of 1976. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Kristina M. Hernandez of Omaha, Nebraska, two sons, Eli D. Donley of Omaha, Nebraska, Joseph M. Donley of Scranton, Ks., one brother, Kenneth Joe Reid of Topeka, two sisters, Brenda S. Brown of Carbondale, Ks., Carrie L. Seymour of Berryton, her father, James D. Godfrey of Topeka, her mother, Janet E. Reid and her husband, Paul of Scranton, her grandmother, Wilma L. Godfrey of Topeka, many nieces, nephews, cousins and worlds of friends. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Zacory Michael Donley on April 26, 2001 and Christian Michael Hernandez on March 4, 2003. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Graveside committal services will be held at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame, Ks. Mrs Donley will lie in state after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
