Catherine M. Pheasant, 80, Topeka, died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at McCrite Plaza Care Center.
She was born Sept. 8, 1926 in Ottawa, KS, the daughter of R. Frank and Rose Arthur Crum.
Catherine graduated from Topeka High School and the Jane C. Stormont School of Nursing.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert K. Pheasant; one son, Mark Pheasant and wife Sheryl; two daughters, Jane Batterman and husband Keith and Jean Partain and husband Jack, all of Topeka; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Crum, and sister, Dorothy Farnham.
Following her request, Catherine was cremated. No public services are planned. Newcomer Family Home is assisting the family.
