CATHERINE ROSE REEVES
Age 83, passed away after a short illness on March 2, 2008 in Topeka, surrounded by her family. Contributions may be given to her memorial fund, in care of the family.
"Grandma Cathy" was born December 23, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY to James and Rose Lawless. After settling in the Topeka area, she was employed with local retailers, and then devoted her time to caring for handicapped citizens through the Foster Grandparents program at TARC. In her leisure time, she was an avid bingo player, and traveled with her friends in the Foster Grandparent program.
She leaves behind her sons Harry (Leanna) Stewart, Tim Reeves, and Roy Reeves, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Reeves, and her son, Steve Reeves.
