Cenna Ehret

Ceena Stella (Andersen) Ehret, Topeka, age 97, died on January 29, 2008 at St Francis Health Center. She was born on July 19, 1910 near Cedar Rapids, IA. Ceena was the youngest of six children parented by Olaf and Matilda Andersen of Tyler, MN.

Ceena married Glen Ellsworth Ehret on October 6, 1939. They lived the majority of their married life in Huron, SD, where she dedicated her life to being a homemaker. Glen preceded her in death in 1999. Ceena moved to Topeka, KS in 1995.
Ceena is survived by her four children; John (and wife Jeanne) of Yankton, SD, Philip (and wife Patsy) of Stuart, FL, Dianne (and husband Jack Beck) of West Branson, Mo, and son Rick of Topeka, KS. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; Julie Greenfield, Todd Ehret, Lisa (Beck) Daniels, Steve Beck, Philip Ehret, and David Ehret. Ceena was also blessed with five, great-grandchildren, Paul and Michael Greenfield, Erika and Bennett Ehret, and Colin Daniels. Ceena will be remembered for her selfless nature and devotion to her family and friends.

A private family memorial service will be held. Newcomer Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
