Charlene Jo Black Stover, 80 died on February 2, 2021 at Stormont Vail.
Charlene was born October 10, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Lloyd and Marjorie Black.
After graduating from Topeka High School (class of 1958), she worked for Kansas Corporation Commission while attending Washburn University. She finished her career working for Kansas Building Trades and Blue Cross-Blue Shield in which she retired on November 1, 1995.
Charlene married her forever love, Stanley H. Stover on May 27, 1962. They had 2 children – son Todd Michael and daughter Brenda Jo.
She enjoyed going to Englewood, FL in the winters, going to casinos all over the United States, being with family, spending time with grandchildren and attending their events.
Charlene was preceded in death by her son Todd, sister-in-law Audrey Kulsar, and favorite cousin Marilyn. Survivors include husband Stanley of 58 years; daughter Brenda Jo Clarke (John) of Edgerton, KS; grandchildren Caleb, Trevor, and Sydney; and 2 nephews and 1 niece.
Services will be at a later date.
