Charles D. "Chuck" Hudson, 73, of Topeka, passed away at his residence on Sat. Feb. 9, 2002. He was born on April 8, 1928 in Elmdale, Kansas the son of Walter E. and Anna Nelson Hudson.
He grew up in Wilsey Kansas and attended schools there. In 1951 he join the US Army and served in the Korean Conflict. In 1957 he married Alice Parks in Wilsey, Kansas. She survives. They moved to Topeka in 1957 and raised their family there. Chuck was employed with the Kansas Department of Transportaion , where he retired from after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Highland Heights Christian Church in Tecumseh. He was an avid bowler, and was a member of several leagues in Topeka. He and Alice were members of the Swinging Squares Square dance club.

Brother: Gene Hudson, Salina, Kansas
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2002 at Highland
Heights Christian Church.
Burial will be at Wilsey Cemetery in Wilsey, Kansas
Mr. Hudson will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel after
Noon on Thursday where the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
