Charles Edward Miller, 69, of Carbondale, KS passed away, Sunday, May 20, 2012. He was born January 29, 1943 in Leesville, LA to Milton Charles and Frances Henrietta (Bateson) Miller.
Charles was raised in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High School in 1961. He served his country in the US Army in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969 where he received the Purple Heart. Charles married Sherry Sisco on May 3, 1969. They later divorced. He retired from Hills Pet Nutrition of Topeka. Charles is survived by his daughters, Stacie Hinck and Kellie McCain (Chris), of Vassar, KS; son, Justin Miller (Tracee), of Topeka, KS; sisters, Kaylia Zirkle, of Topeka, Pam Miller, of Osage City, and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Miller.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, June 1st at Carbondale Cemetery.
