Charles "Don" Lolley, 73, of Topeka, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Midland Hospice Care. He was born September 24, 1937 in Topeka, the son of Leon and Betty Lolley.
Don graduated from Seaman High School in 1954. He married Ruby Mayfield in 1974 in Bentonville, AR. She survives. He retired from Topeka Foundry and Iron works and owned his own business, Door and Hardware Supply. Don enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; children, Vicki Johnson (Bill), Melody Jones (Ernie), Ron Adkins, Charles Adkins, and Kathleen Trimmer (Jason); five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Angela Polich.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 28, at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave., Topeka, KS 66606. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Don will lie in state after 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
