Charles Wayne "Charlie" May, 74, Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at a local care center.
Charles was born November 11, 1943 in Holton, the son of Chester I. and Evelyn B. (Wilson) May. He graduated from Mayetta Rural High School in 1962.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1962 to 1966 serving 2 tours in Vietnam.
He worked at the Santa Fe Railroad shops in Topeka.
Survivors include a brother, Harlan May, Topeka; sisters, Lois Crummey, Topeka, and Brenda McClain, Carbondale. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles was cremated and Graveside services will be held at the Havensville Cemetery at a later date.
